I have been sick for the last week which caused me to miss a day and a half of work. Today I had to wear a mask at work all day because I still have a fever and cough. Of course today also had to be the day that my hernia acts up at work leaving me in excruciating pain and laying on the bathroom floor for close to an hour..not a pretty sight.

And to top it all off I just learned that my grandmother only has a couple of days to live and I have to decide whether or not to go be see her. I'm not really close with my family, but I feel like I should be there for my mom since she is really the only family I am close with. But, this means paying $200 for a round trip train ticket and missing more work.

I am almost 38 weeks prego and almost immobile (well, not literally but it feels that way since I am ginormous) and I just want to sleep the last couple weeks away. I am utterly miserable. We also don't have a name picked out yet....can't agree on anything...ANYTHING. *frustration*

Wake me when it's over.

Can't wait til I get to that stage lol...

The ex sent our son to school on Monday with a fever, knowing he was sick Sunday. I picked him up off the bus with a temp of 103. How can someone be so stupid? My son said there were only 11 kids in class and 80 out sick from school on Monday.
Doctor didn't want to see him bc of the H1N1 going around, I knew it was his normal October headcold, thank goodness. Home for 2 days until the fever was gone and he could to return to school.

There's all kinds of viruses going around at work & I hope I don't get anything.
High stress levels are already making my Chronic Shingles act up...and where do I get the breakouts?....on my face. Ugh. Itchy, pimple looking breakouts, more meds, swelling, kidney pain constantly, blurry vision in one eye and less hearing in one ear.
I know it's a lot to ask for, I just want one normal day.

My water is off and I need to shower!! Some idiot hit the water main up the road and the water company has no idea when it'll be back on! GRR.. That is my gripe for the moment!

Annoyed with having people pushing their religious beliefs on me. I should be able to attend class at a public university without having to listen to this sort of stuff and without being attacked when I politely say I'm not comfortable discussing this and do not see how it's relevant to the class discussion.

And I'm sick...too much staying out late, not enough sleep has caught up with me. Coughing, chest pain, sore throat, headache...good times.

My roommate has H1N1. And is preggo. And she doesn't seem to care enough to try not to spread it...so I am worried I will get it. Just because she doesn't care about or want her baby, doesnt mean I don't care about mine. My shot isnt until next Thurs and it'll take another 2 weeks for it to be fully effective.

Theres not much she can do to not spread it except stay home. The face masks you can buy at the stores are useless. Just try and keep your distance from her and clean with lysol. You may not get it at all. It was at my center and one of the kids that is always hanging on me and kissing my cheek had it bad. I did not get it. So just because you are exposed to it does not mean you will get it.

Whne you get the shot make sure it is the inactive virus and that it does not contain mercury.

I am going to a clinic that only gives shots to pregnant women so I am sure it is the right one, but I will ask anyways.
I am not super close to her so I am not around her a lot and she has been in her room most of the time. I am jsut upset cuz she doesnt seem to care about trying to not spread it. Yesterday me and Anthony went to the mall with her bf (Its two couples living together) and she got mad that he didnt bring her. Its like WTF?! You are sick! Stay home dammit! The other day she went to the grocery store while she was sick and ended up passing out at the register and was brought to the hospital in an ambulance. They decided she passed out because she is preggo and not eating.
