subtlemagik wrote:Be very gentle removing them, Silver. I used regular bandaids after I got my nips done. The bandaids didn't hurt coming off, but after 2 or 3 rounds of using them, I had lots of bruising from the bandaids. The kind where the capillaries break and it looks really bad. They all went away, eventually.
Thanks majik !!! don't want to bruise my goods....haha Have a great day girl and hope your nippies are healing nicely......

silvertip wrote:Hi,I want to get my nipples pierced, but want to be able to swim in a pool this fall/winter....So here's my question: Has anyone had any experience with covering them to keep the water out of the piercing that works good? You think that there would be something that would do the job... Any input would be greatly great !! Thanks, silvertip

Welcome to the "Tribe," it would be nice to get to know you, what piercings you have, or whether you're just thinking of getting some. It would be great if you fill in your profile, and tell us a little about yourself. If you have any piercing questions, or something you want to share about piercings, just start a forum thread, by clicking "new topic" at the top of the forum, and go for it.

Silver, My hubby has also used Tegaderm, but not for swimming. There is also another brand very much the same, but I forget the name. Anyway, the reason I wrote is that I think "clean" would have to mean "smooth," or in other words ... sorry ... "shaved," in order for them to really stick and get a seal. Even then, you may want to play in the water with your upper body out of the water, most of the time. Of course, put a descent amount of gauze in the middle, so it doesn't stick to your nipple or jewelry.
