Apadravya -vs- Reverse PA

Postby Outsideboy » Tue Nov 03, 2009 2:33 pm

I have a 2g PA and have been considering another step - either a reverse PA or going with an apadravya. Was wondering if anyone has perspectives on a question I've been chewing over: once a regular PA plus a reverse PA are healed, is this something that can be converted to an appy without repiercing?

A reverse PA is essentially the upper part of the apadravya, so yes.

According to TPB, "If you already have a regular PA, it is best for healing to extend it through the top using a straight barbell in the apadravya position, even if you plan to wear separate jewelry in the reverse Prince Albert position later."

Many thanks, Cloud. I've waited on this piercing (apadravya ) for about a year, mostly bcuz it intimidated me, but also wanted the wifey's buy-in on account of nobody digs the ensuing dry spell.

The PA was kinda intended as a gateway piercing to the appy, but with as much fun as we've had, I now greedily want more ;) It's nice to know that there is some modularity to accessorizing this piercing!

BTW, pardon my ignorance, but can I ask who/what was the TPB you referenced?

Omigarsh, perhaps if I wasn't so impatient, I could've answered my own question (and many more I didn't know I had) just by checking out your profile + webpage.....errrrr......thanks again!

Well, I'm a gurl, I don't know about peens; and the reference is The Piercing Bible by Elayne Angel. I just get tired of writing it out.

contrary to popular belief (cough) I am not the fount of all wisdom. Do your research and Good luck!
