Besides the picture galleries here, there are experiences you can read from other guys, and hopefully give you a feel for why their dydoes did or didn't work out. There will be other info too about their pain, their healing, and stuff.
If you want a similar effect on the top of the penis, you can get a frenum piercing, and after it heals, put in a ring, which would double as a glans ring, and you could put a CBR on or a circular barbell, with the ball or balls behind the ridge on the top of the penis. You can probably see some examples in the frenum gallery.
Some guys have had wonderful success with dydoes, but they are one of the "higher risk" piercings for migration. Frenums can migrate, but its a lot less likely than with dydoes. And I love PAs. I think they are so sexy, and very durable, much lower risk of migration or other problems.
Has your wife looked at any pics with you? It might be a good idea to look through the galleries together with her, and she can tell you what she thinks would look good and, and what she thinks would feel good.
