One pierced nip or two?

Postby beardsman » Mon Mar 20, 2017 8:58 am

So I had my nips pierced years ago. This was before the Leave It The Hell Alone philosophy, and I was given the old traditional advice to use Dial antibacterial soap and move the rings, etc. and man they just never seemed to settle down and heal, so I eventually removed them. I think the soap and the constant turning is what pissed them off, but who knows?

Well, I'm feeling THE CALL again (I know we here understand that call heh heh) to get re-pierced and sport some steel in the nip(s), and I just was curious to get some opinions on one nip ring vs. both.

To me, there's something I-don't-give-a-@#% casual and kinda badass about just sporting one ring and the asymmetry is somehow cool. So I'm debating whether to do 'em both or just go for the one.

Any thoughts?

Others have weighed in on this question before. Most say both. I, on the other hand, agree with you. There is something cool about having only one nipple pierced. I got my left nipple (only) pierced 3 yrs ago with a straight barbell. Two months ago I got my right nipple pierced. Although there is a straight barbell in the right nipple now, my plan it so replace it with a CBR, and thereby restore the asymmetry. u:D So there is your answer. Be a rebel and go with one!

Dang I searched to make sure I wasn't being all lame and posting a dumb common question and didn't find anything. Oh well lol. That's a good idea to think of the asymmetry as different kinds of rings!

I've said this elsewhere before, but just to reiterate: as soon as I saw how great the first one looked, there was no way I was leaving without having both!

It is certainly personal choice, and there are reasons for either. Either way, it is a great piercing. Good luck.

Thanks guys. Achin to get em redone, but I think I should wait til after summer. I'll want to swim, and I know that's a no-no.

Any healing tips for those who've been successful with nip rings?

You've still got plenty of time before swimming season.
