Fancy way to wear an apadravya

Postby scharf » Wed Nov 18, 2009 3:31 am

Hey everyone, I'm looking for opinions/ideas on an idea I had recently.

I've seen this method of wearing an apa proposed before on the forums (I think), but I'm pretty sure people shot it down because they weren't sure how to get the jewelry in properly...

Anyway... here's my idea: short barbell in top part of apa (terminating inside the urethra), and a CBR or CBB for the bottom part, PA-style.

Now I know everyone is gonna wonder how the hell to get the strait barbell into the top part--I think I've got it figured out:

-Start out with an internally-threaded barbell with a small ball on one end
-Find an externally-threaded CBB with same thread diameter
-Screw the two together
-Shove it in, CBB first, until the CBB is all the way out of the top part of the apa and the straight barbell is sitting in the hole.
-Unscrew the two pieces
-Put ball of desired size on the external part of the straight barbell

Does this sound like it would be something wearable? I don't know if wearing a ball inside the urethra long-term would cause any problems or discomfort, or if it would get too much in the way of the CBB/CBR of the PA part...

I've already secured a place to get the internal and external threads of the correct size for the straight BB and CBB, so that's not an issue.

If anyone has opinions, input, and/or experience with this I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

I don't know if internal and external threads would match up.
But what you could try is get a threaded taper that can be screwed onto the barbell in order it get it in place then just swap the taper for the ball

Oh yeah, also a pair of small pair of needle nosed pliers with electrical tape on the ends might be handy to grip the barbell when tightening or loosening the bead or taper

Good luck

Hey Endomancer,

Thanks for the reply!

I've already found a place where I can get jewelry where the threads will match up properly--I've already tested it too, so no worries there.

The reason I need a curved barbell for this is because the top part of my apa is set really far back, and I am unable to get anything straight to pass through the top hole and out my urethra (I've tried--I can't angle it that far). A threaded taper is a good idea, but for this I would need a threaded curved taper--do they even make such a thing? If anyone can find a link to one I'd owe you big... Otherwise I think the CBB would work just fine.

Good idea on the needle-nose. I'll definitely use that!

Thanks!

I would be curious to who is making externally threaded jewelry with the same thread patter as their internally threaded jewelry....

The cheap SS stuff on painfulpleasures.com all uses 14ga threads. I managed to successfully screw an externally-threaded barbell into an internally-threaded one (both ordered from that site), so I've already confirmed that it works well enough to get the job done.

I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by referencing an outside distributor...

a bit late in the game for this, as you already have the appy, but if you had started with a PA, stretched it to like a 2g or so, then you could have just slid a barbell, ball and all, through the PA hole into the appy (provided its not also a large gauge) , then wore the pa as normal...
all in all, it sounds like a cool idea, however i am foreseeing an issue with pinching. i have no personal experience with this, but i know most guys who have worn a reverse pa at the same time as a regular pa claim that the jewelry can pinch together, causing some discomfort. i mention this because essentially you're wanting do do the same thing...
